Receptionist Part time / Casual

Our ideal receptionist is a confident multitasker, with a very enthusiastic, friendly and positive happy attitude. You will have an empathetic nature with a professional, can-do approach. You are reliable, trustworthy, punctual, caring and helpful; understand great customer service, and confidentiality.  A real team player.

Hours
We are after someone to work 1 shift per week to begin with the possibility of more in the future & be available to cover Holiday & Sick leave when required.

Ideally we need someone who is available to work Friday am 8.00am-12.30pm (approx), with the possibly of extra hours 8.15am – 12.30pm & 2.30pm- 6.30pm (although the AM shift is a definite). The finish times can vary by 15-30min depending on the day.

Salary
As per Health Professional and Support Services Award (code No MA0000027)

Duties include but not limited to;

  • Welcoming patients
  • Booking appointments
  • Answering telephone calls and enquiries
  • Patient billing and receipting via the computer
  • Scanning of paperwork
  • General administrative duties.
Experience

Preferred but not required – as training will be provided

  • Previous experience in dealing with the public in a “front desk / office” capacity
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Ability to multi task
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently with initiative and as part of a small cohesive team, supporting others.
  • Competent basic computer skills
  • Friendly nature with good verbal and communication skills
  • Skills and experience in answering telephone enquiries and operating telephone systems consistently maintaining a pleasant telephone manner.
  • Sound decision making skills, initiative
  • Well presented
  • Personal Health focus
  • Organised

Selection Criteria – Desirable

  • Understanding of Chiropractic and Experience of Chiropractic Care
  • Experience working in a Chiropractic Clinic or medical environment
  • Prior experience with HICAPS
